For something totally different this summer, take your kids along to one of Slime Planet’s 5* workshops! These hands-on, brilliantly fun, sensory slime-making workshops are firm favourites with parents and children alike: you’ll leave as a Qualified Slime Scientist – and with your own slime!
From 20th July to 18th August, Slime Planet is running a special Sun’s Out Gunk’s Out Summer of Slime workshop, where children can make their own slimetastic poppin’ candy slime. Select your favourite colour, add texture by mixing in glitter or foam beads, choose your favourite sweet scent – anything from chocolate to bubblegum – and then add your poppin’ candy and listen to the incredible pop! As a Qualified Slime Scientist, you’ll learn to roll, twirl and even blow bubbles with your slime; and, although you might not be tasting it, this sweet treat is sure to be the favourite of the summer!
You can even try making giant slime with other children, and take the chance to feel some of the strangest slimes out there – fluffy slime, crunchy slime, and even “fart” slime! Workshops last an hour, and are open to young slime-lovers aged four and up. Aprons and gloves are provided, too, so clothes are well protected.
